This project came by way of a long-time creative partner. Rick is the husband of Angelique, a business owner I’ve collaborated with for years. Angelique mentioned that Rick’s business was growing, but his DIY website wasn’t keeping up. It was time for a full refresh that reflected the professionalism of his brand and the caliber of clients he serves. Rick had a strong attachment to his nautical-inspired logo, so we used that as our anchor (pun intended) and built a modern, polished site around it.
THE GOAL

We started with a website template Angelique had purchased but never used. While it leaned more feminine than Rick’s brand direction, we saw the potential. By creating a custom brand kit with updated colors, fonts, and visual inspiration, we were able to reshape the template into something that felt intentional and aligned. We mixed and matched page sections, added specialty canvases, and gave the entire site a more grounded, masculine, and professional tone while still keeping the clean structure that made the template work.
