Those years in the events industry taught me how to anticipate needs and solve problems before they happen, and create experiences that feel seamless from beginning to end. Looking back, I didn't realize it then, but I was building systems long before I ever knew what a CRM was.

...you start a buisness. Like so many others in the events industry, my career took an unexpected turn in 2020. At the time, I was working as an Assistant Box Office Manager, and well... selling event tickets during a pandemic was about as successful as selling ice cream in the snow. After nearly a year of working from home processing ticket refunds, I found myself looking for a creative outlet, and saying "yes" to a few small administrative projects for my boyfriend's business and a handful of business owner friends.
Those small projects quickly turned into something much bigger. As I helped behind the scenes, I discovered Dubsado and fell in love with the way thoughtful systems could completely transform a business. It wasn't just about automation or saving time; it was about creating clarity and giving business owners the freedom to focus on the work they loved. Before I knew it, those small favors had grown into GFitts Assist.

Today, I'm all in with GFitts Assist from my home in Charlotte, North Carolina, where business and life beautifully intertwine. That boyfriend I mentioned is now my husband, enjoying life with our three kids. Somewhere between client calls, dance practices, and family dinners, the systems I love have taken on a whole new meaning.
I've learned that great systems aren't just about saving time, they're about creating space for what matters most. They're what allow me to be present with my family, serve my clients well, and build a business that fits my life instead of competing with it.
